On the Possibility of Forming a Corium Pool by Induction Heating in a Melt Trap of the Lava-B Facility

This paper presents the results of computational and physical studies on production corium its retention in an MR’s melt trap Lava-B facility. A feature facility used IAE NNC RK to study processes occurring during a severe accident at nuclear reactor, is separation stages reactor core formation interaction with structural materials.
